Hotel Arena is looking for a Room Attendant / Housekeeping Employee. In this role, you make sure our hotel rooms, corridors and public areas are clean, fresh and well cared for. You notice the details others might miss and make sure everything is right before the guest arrives.

What will you do?

As a Room Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning and preparing hotel rooms and general areas. You work according to clear standards, while also paying attention to the small details that make the difference.

Your tasks include:

• cleaning and tidying hotel rooms;

• making and changing beds;

• cleaning bathrooms;

• replenishing towels, amenities and other room supplies;

• vacuuming, dusting and checking the room;

• reporting technical issues or anything unusual;

• keeping corridors, storage areas and public spaces tidy;

• working together with colleagues from housekeeping, front office and technical service.

You work carefully, respectfully and with attention to our guests, your colleagues and the monumental building we work in.

Who are you?

You are practical, reliable and like to get things done. You care about clean and well-presented spaces and enjoy working in a team where everyone helps each other.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience in housekeeping, cleaning or hotels, or is motivated to learn;

• has an eye for detail;

• can work independently and carefully;

• is comfortable with physical work;

• is reliable, punctual and a good team player;

• is flexible and available to work weekends and public holidays;

• speaks Dutch or English.

About Hotel Arena

Hotel Arena is a unique place in Amsterdam East. Located in a monumental building in the middle of Oosterpark, our hotel brings together rooms, restaurant, bar, events, culture and Amsterdam energy.
