At Bouillon d'Amsterdam we bring the timeless French brasserie experience to the heart of Amsterdam. Honest food exceptional ingredients and warm hospitality are at the core of everything we do. As Chef de Partie you will take ownership of your section and work closely with the Sous Chef Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding dining experience every single day.

What will you do?

As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and managing your mise-en-place to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

  • Preparing cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and quality standards.

  • Maintaining consistency in flavour presentation and portion control.

  • Working closely with the Sous Chef Head Chef and your colleagues to ensure seamless service.

  • Communicating effectively with the front-of-house team regarding dietary requirements and allergies.

  • Following HACCP procedures including temperature checks FIFO labelling and maintaining a clean workstation.

  • Reporting equipment issues and helping maintain a safe kitchen environment.

  • Monitoring stock levels and preparing daily order requests for your section.

  • Contributing ideas for menu development seasonal changes and continuous kitchen improvements.

Do you recognise yourself in the following?

  • You have experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a quality-driven kitchen.

  • You are organised and work in a clean structured way while following kitchen procedures.

  • You stay calm under pressure and perform well during busy services.

  • You are a team player with strong communication skills in Dutch and/or English.

  • You have a keen eye for detail quality and consistency.

  • You are eager to learn open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

  • You have solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
